The Disney full-length feature South of the Border, where Drew Barrymore, Andy García and Salma Hayek will give voices to the movie’s main characters, three dogs, has started filming in Puerto Vallarta and surroundings.
Under the direction of Raja Gosnell, who previously produced Scooby Doo, the storyline intertwines real people and virtual characters. Drew Barrymore’s character, Chloe, is a ritzy Chihuahua who becomes separated from her owner, performed by actress Jamie Lee Curtis, during a trip to Mexico.
The adventure begins when Chloe meets other dogs that help her way back to her owner. Andy García provide the voice of a German Shepherd who used to work at the police department but has regretfully lost his sense of smell, while Salma Hayek’s character will become Chloe’s spiritual guide. Other voices featured on the film include those of actors Edward James Olmos, Paul Rodriguez, opera singer/impresario Placido Domingo and many, many more.

According to the polling firm “E-Poll Market Research”, which provides appeal rankings for more than 3,000 celebrities (both men and women), 65% of the U.S. population would use the term “sexy” to describe Salma. And while anything but ugly herself, Hayek scored big with ABC’s freshman dramedy Ugly Betty. In addition to her role as the show’s executive producer, she won over audiences as Daniel Meade’s love interest and women’s magazine editor Sofia Reyes. Off-screen, Hayek is carrying the baby of billionaire fiancé Francois-Henri Pinault. Salma’s not the only 40-something on the list. Fifth-ranked Halle Berry and 14th-ranked Pamela Anderson, both 40, made it, as did Elizabeth Hurley, 42. Hurley tied for the ninth slot on the list. Below is the top 10 sexiest celebrities in Hollywood, followed by how many percent of the population would describe them as “sexy”.
1. Salma Hayek – 65%
