According to Box Office Mojo, the release-date for the upcoming movie Across the Universe has been moved from September 28 to September 14. Be sure to go see the movie (with Salma as a hot nurse) this fall.

Again, I’m very sorry for the lack of updates on the site, but I’m working out of town a lot. But don’t worry, Salma Hayek Web isn’t going anywhere, and will continue to keep you updated with the very latest soon again. For now, here’s a great announcement of a new project for Miss Hayek!

Disney has hired Salma Hayek to appear in their new untitled romantic comedy. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Ed Decter and John Strauss are responsible for the script.

The plot revolves around a conservative doctor who discovers that his fiance’s former boy friend is a Latin superstar. The Romeo returns to Los Angeles to win her back, which throws the doctor’s life into complete chaos. Hayek will be playing the fiance.

The film is set to start shooting sometime this fall. Expect an early 2008 release date.
