As 2008 is coming to and end, we just wanted to take a look back at this past year for Salma Hayek. Professionally it was a relatively quiet year for Miss Hayek. She did attend several events; namely some Cannes appearances and charity events like the amfAR Cinema Against AIDS Dubai Gala (where she helped raise $1.8 Million) [view entry], Stand Up to Cancer, CNN Heroes: An All-Star Tribute and Rock the Kasbah Benefiting Virgin Unite to were just a few. She also become the spokeswoman for the Pampers/UNICEF campaign against tetanus [view entry]. Acting wise there was the announcement of her upcoming 30 Rock multiple episodes stint [view entry] and earlier this year she filmed Cirque du Freak (to be announced 2009 release) [view first still]. Personally she called off her engagement to French billionaire Francois-Henri Pinault [view entry], although the two were spotted together after [view entry]. She also celebrated her daughter Valentina’s first birthday. Since there wasn’t much media (magazines, film stills) coverage this year, here is a look back out our favorite public event looks of Miss Hayek from 2008. View all of the appearances here. Feel free to post your own favorites here!
Salma looked gorgeous in this plunging-neck electric blue gown by Gucci. Salma looked beautiful and natural. Her inner beauty truly shines as she was so passionate about the UNICEF project. She can rock some jeans like no other! Even a dressed down Salma is flawless!
Hayek flaunted her sumptuous curves in an embroidered green Balenciaga gown and equally sumptuous Chopard diamonds danglers. Her hair looked tidy in a classic braid, very “Frida” style.
Salma Hayek wore a Stefano Pilati’s gown to the Partouche Charity Poker game at this year’s Cannes Film Festival. She looked so stunning!
Can you honestly believe this woman had just had a baby?! She debuted her post-pregnancy body in this flattering black dress with red accents. – Those are only a few of Salma’s amazing looks this past year, but she seriously looked amazing every single time. When doesn’t this woman look good is what we should be asking! |
