Salma Hayek finally got her fairytale wedding.
The actress and her husband, French billionaire François-Henri Pinault, tied the knot – for the second time – Saturday in a star-studded ceremony in Venice, Italy, People has confirmed. They originally got married in a civil ceremony at the 6th Arrondisement City Hall in Paris on Valentine’s Day.
This time around, Hayek, 42, went all out. She wore a Balenciaga wedding gown by Nicholas Ghesquiere as she exchanged vows with Pinault, 46, at Venice’s opera house La Fenice. The bride, who wore her hair in a bun with a long veil, held a bouquet of orchids and stephanotis with crystals.
The couple’s daughter, Valentina Paloma, 19 months, was a flower girl, along with Francois-Henri’s son and daughter from his first marriage, Francois, 10 and Mathilde, 8. Valentina wore a dress by Bonpoint for the ceremony, which started around 7 p.m. At one point in the ceremony, the guests sang “Over the Rainbow.”

More great news for us Salma Hayek fans – she’s gracing the cover of the April issue of In Style! We will try to get scans from the magazine as soon as possible. For now, here are a few tidbits from the interview, via JustJared.com.
“Any color can look beautiful on you,” the 42-year-old actress says. “It’s like a relationship. You just have to embrace it and work with it… When you’re petite, what color you wear doesn’t matter so much but big prints are probably not the best idea.”
Of her 17-month-old daughter Valentina Paloma, Salma says, “She’s a little dictator! (laughs) She is unique, magical–definitely the most colorful person I’ve ever met. I feel so connected to her, but at the same time, we are completely different. I discover something new about her every day.”

Salma Hayek may have gotten hitched to a French billionaire but she still has her feet on the ground. This was evident with the way Salma Hayek thinks and the way she treats people. Just recently, Salma Hayek took time out to support an important man in her life—not her husband but her hairdresser. Robert Vetica, her hairdresser launched his book “Good to Great Hair” at Beso and even if she was newly wed she brought along her wedding band bling but sorry folks because the actress would not allow any questions about her new husband billionaire Francois-Henri Pinault.
Salma Hayek was however vocal about her new project which is her own line of cheap cosmetic line. The new cosmetic line being conceptualized by Salma Hayek is in response to the recession so expect it to have the Salma Hayek signature but with a cheap price. She said she is developing the cosmetic line with a drugstore and have been doing research for the product for three years now. Her thrust, to get the essence of the really expensive cosmetic products in such as way as to allow everyone to use it at an affordable price. She is also active in breastfeeding campaign.

Is she or isn’t she attending the Oscars? That is the question. Just yesterday I posted about Harvey Weinstein’s confidence in Salma making an appearance and today a report with L.A. hairdresser-to-the-stars (and Salma’s personal hairdresser many times) Robert Vetica said that Salma isn’t attending the ceremony; but she will be at some after parties!
Q: Where will you be watching the Oscars this year?
A: I have to do Marion again, but then I have a feeling I’m gonna be at Salma’s house. She’s not going to the ceremony, but I’m gonna get her ready for the parties afterwards, so I’ll hang out there and watch the Oscars. She’s like family to me. We grew up together.
