According to this report, Salma will be joining Antonio Banderas to voice a charactr in Puss In Boots (working title), based on the popular Shrek character of the same name, which will be released on March 30, 2012.
By the way, I haven’t had a chance to report on this but Salma was recently announced to star in Adam Sandler’s newest comedy Grown Ups coming to theaters on March 12, 2010.
She’ll be joining a cast that includes Kevin James, Chris Rock, Adam Sandler, Rob Schneider and David Spade. The Columbia Pictures release is about five best friends from high school who reunite 30 years later on a Fourth of July weekend.
Salma would star as Sandler’s wife in the film and mother to their daughters. They are also hearing that Sandler pals Norm McDonald and Steve Buscemi are joining the cast of the project in smaller roles.

Great news! According to several reliable sources, Salma Hayek will get to show off her comedy chops in the new Adam Sandler film that’s tentatively titled Lake House.
JoBlo.com reports that Salma will star along with Sandler, David Spade, Rob Schnieder, Chris Rock and Kevin James in the film, which revolves around a group of high school friends who reunited in their hometown. Hayek would play Sandler’s wife in the film and the site is also reporting that Norm MacDonald and Steve Buscemi have signed onto much smaller roles in the film. It was said the film would be similar to The Big Chill, but more comedic.
Sandler is co-writing the film with Fred Wolf and Dennis Dugan would direct. The site also reported the film would likely go into production this May in New England.
This sounds great! And I think it’s safe to say that I’m speaking for the entire Encantadora-team when I’m saying “I can’t wait”!

Salma Hayek may have gotten hitched to a French billionaire but she still has her feet on the ground. This was evident with the way Salma Hayek thinks and the way she treats people. Just recently, Salma Hayek took time out to support an important man in her life—not her husband but her hairdresser. Robert Vetica, her hairdresser launched his book “Good to Great Hair” at Beso and even if she was newly wed she brought along her wedding band bling but sorry folks because the actress would not allow any questions about her new husband billionaire Francois-Henri Pinault.
Salma Hayek was however vocal about her new project which is her own line of cheap cosmetic line. The new cosmetic line being conceptualized by Salma Hayek is in response to the recession so expect it to have the Salma Hayek signature but with a cheap price. She said she is developing the cosmetic line with a drugstore and have been doing research for the product for three years now. Her thrust, to get the essence of the really expensive cosmetic products in such as way as to allow everyone to use it at an affordable price. She is also active in breastfeeding campaign.

Salma Hayek has some words of wisdom for women who are hesitant about starting a family later on in life.
“When you turn 40, it’s a lost easier than 30,” the actress, 42, tells USA Today. “They lied when they said you get old when you’re 40. The best is the 40s.” Watch the video here.
Hayek, who gave birth to daughter Valentina in September 2007, says she’ll “maybe” expand her brood, adding that she won’t let her age determine whether or not she’ll have more kids.
