Sorry for the lack of updates as of lately. There aren’t that much going on with Salma at the moment, and I’ve been working hard on revamping my other site about Courteney Cox. Here’s an article, though, about Salma’s guest appearance in Ugly Betty in the coming episode.
“Salma Hayek, who’s been content to keep a low profile as an executive producer on her new hit series Ugly Betty, steps into the limelight this week when she appears on the ABC comedy.
In a four-episode story arc expertly timed for November sweeps, the stunning Mexican actress plays Sofia Reyes, a beautiful mystery woman who appears in the lobby of the Mode magazine offices. Instantly attracted to her, perpetually randy editor-in-chief Daniel Meade (Eric Mabius) asks for Betty’s (America Ferrera) help in finding her identity.
Hayek has appeared on the show once, as the maid in the telenovela watched religiously by Betty’s dad, Ignacio (Tony Plana).

With the pre-production of Keep Coming Back coming closer, another castmember was announced by MovieWeb.com. Read the quote below for more information. It seems like Salma’s playing a stripper, again.
“Victor Rasuk is set to star opposite Salma Hayek and William H. Macy in the indie drama, Keep Coming Back.
William H. Macy is making his directorial debut on the Will Aldis script. The film centers on a clean-cut Southern teenager with a good soul and a bad heart, which beats super-fast whenever he’s in a state of passion or terror. As a result, he’s under doctor’s (Macy) orders to lead a dull and bland life or face death, Production Weekly adds. Unable to cope with his boring and loveless life he decides to reinvent himself as a bad boy, in order to win the heart of a stripper (Hayek) twice his age. Rasuk will play Hayek’s teenage son.
Keep Coming Back is tentatively scheduled to begin filming in January for a late 2007 release.”
