I wanted to let all of our loyal visitors know that this site will likely not be updated a whole lot until the end of April. I am going to be traveling and my internet access will be very minimal. But I will try and update the site as much as I can, if possible. Also this regards e-mail replies and comments approval. If the hiatus will last longer than a month, I will be sure to update on it again. But rest assured, I will update as soon as I can!
Meanwhile, check out here for the latest news and here for the newest images.

I would like to remind everyone that I am not Salma Hayek or represented by her management in anyway. This is purely a fan built and run website. When you e-mail or use the contact form your messages come to me (general inquiries, donations, news alerts, etc). Please know that they in no way ever reach Miss Hayek. I’m sorry for the inconvenience.
I know the recent Nightline report has struck a great deal of feedback (mostly wonderful) and I’d love to pass these messages along to Salma but I’m not in the position to. You are of course welcome to leave comments and feedback on the news articles in the hopes that Salma or her reps might read it and pass it along, but I have no guarantee she ever will. If you would like to contact her, I suggest you try her last known fanmail address! Please know there is still no guarantee you will reach her as Salma is a very busy woman, but it never huts to try!
Mailing address:
c/o Management 360
9111 Wilshire Blvd
Beverly Hills, CA 90210
USA
Please remember if you need to contact the site administrator (myself) for things regarding the website you are welcomed to. Anything regarding general feedback, personal letters, poems and so fourth to Miss Hayek herself are simply deleted. I also can not get you into contact regarding charity matters or projects. I’m very sorry, but I hope you understand! I’m only a fan.

Welcome to the new version of Encantadora! This design, made by myself; features photos from Salma’s Elle 2002 shoot. Personally one of my favorite sets of all time – if not the favorite.
I’ve gone and re-coded and updated several pages and added some things, one major thing added was an extensive compilation of all of Salma’s charities. I am working on some other things like new film pages and a library so lots more things are still to come. ;)
The new designed has been tested in IE and Firefox so I hope it holds up for most of you. I hope you like the new look! Any and all feedback is greatly appreciated!

As 2008 is coming to and end, we just wanted to take a look back at this past year for Salma Hayek.
Professionally it was a relatively quiet year for Miss Hayek. She did attend several events; namely some Cannes appearances and charity events like the amfAR Cinema Against AIDS Dubai Gala (where she helped raise $1.8 Million) [view entry], Stand Up to Cancer, CNN Heroes: An All-Star Tribute and Rock the Kasbah Benefiting Virgin Unite to were just a few. She also become the spokeswoman for the Pampers/UNICEF campaign against tetanus [view entry]. Acting wise there was the announcement of her upcoming 30 Rock multiple episodes stint [view entry] and earlier this year she filmed Cirque du Freak (to be announced 2009 release) [view first still].
Personally she called off her engagement to French billionaire Francois-Henri Pinault [view entry], although the two were spotted together after [view entry]. She also celebrated her daughter Valentina’s first birthday.
Since there wasn’t much media (magazines, film stills) coverage this year, here is a look back out our favorite public event looks of Miss Hayek from 2008. View all of the appearances here. Feel free to post your own favorites here!

CNN Heroes: An All-Star Tribute
Salma looked gorgeous in this plunging-neck electric blue gown by Gucci.

Well, it is time to announce the big news of the site. Mycah and myself have taken over Salma-Hayek.net from the lovely Filip. You may know us from such sites as Amber-Heard.net, Michael C. Hall Online, Captivating Cruz and Scarlett-Fan.com. We are both long time fans of Salma Hayek and could not be more thrilled to take over this site. A big round of applause goes out to Filip, who has done a spectacular job maintaining the site for over two years! Unfortunately, Filip is too busy to run it anymore. You can still spy on him over at his other sites, including Adorable Anna and Becki-Newton.net. We have just moved servers so please let us know if you spot any errors. Stay tuned for the official take over complete with a new look and much more!
To start things off, I’ve updated the gallery with hundreds of new HQs from all of the latest events that Ms Hayek has been photographed at. Earlier today, she attended the Balenciaga show during Paris Fashion Week. Dressed in black, Salma was photographed arm-in-arm with the father of her daughter, Francois-Henri Pinault. It is so nice to see them happy together even despite the break-up. Hopefully Salma will attend more images during the Fashion Week.

New photo albums:

• Stand Up to Cancer
