With Bandidas, starring best friends Salma Hayek & Penélope Cruz, coming to theatres this friday, I thought a gallery update would be good. So that’s what I did. I added 2 new posters, 7 new stills, 3 pictures from the set as well as 71 captures from the American trailer. The trailer caps are in medium quality, but that’s the best I’ve found so far, better caps will be added when the trailer appears. Click on the thumbnails below to view the 83 new pictures!

I finally added some pictures from Lonely Hearts that have been on my hard-drive for far too long. Among them 4 pictures from behind the scenes, a HQ version of the poster as well as 2 HQ stills from the movie. The date for the movie (which premiered on the Tribeca Film Festival earlier this year) to open in theatres is still to be announced. Click on the previews below to view all the new pictures!

Salma Hayek resents the time she spends in the make-up chair on film sets, because it’s a huge chunk of her life. The Frida star admits she once sat down and attempted to work out how much of her life she’ll have spent in make-up trailers and she was horrified by her sums.

She says, “It’s always so awkward for me. One day I did all the math of the hours that I’ve sat in the make-up and hair chair, and I did a projection for the future – and it was a year of my life. I could be learning something or eating and I just sit there while somebody paints my face and messes with my hair.”

I guess we can call the news confirmed now; Salma will be in the movie Keep Coming Back, directed by William H. Macy. Here’s a quote of what he said in an interview.

“…I’ll start pre-production, which will be in November, for Keep Coming Back by Will Alditch. I’m directing and Salma Hayek’s the only one who’s set.”

I’m looking forward to read more about the movie and Salma’s character. Be sure that I’ll post the info when I get my hands on it. :)
