At the 2009 Golden Globes Awards, Mamma Mia! actress Amanda Seyfried wore the same Stella McCartney gown Salma Hayek dawned in November 2008 at the Hollywood Domino Tournament to Benefit The Art of Elysium event. Who do you think wore the dress best?

The sultry Salma adds a retro touch to her gown with a beaded headcap, while Seyfried pairs her shimmering champagne gown with H. Stern jewels and a Daniel Swarovski clutch for this past weekend’s Golden Globes in a more modern look.

I honestly do prefer Amanda’s more modern take vs. the retro one Salma went with because I feel Salma has had dozens of better looks, but both ladies do look fabulous and that’s really all that matters!

Salma Hayek wore a strapless satin dress at the National Board of Review Awards 2008 at Cipriani in New York City on Wednesday, January 14. She looked absolutely stunning, if I say so myself!

Salma, showed off her sumptuous curves in a brown strapless top and a two tone calf length skirt with front pleating and a bow on the waist. She accessorized with suede pumps, and Bvlgari jewels – gold and black stone earrings and multiple gold bangles on her left arm.

She wore bronze glitter eye make up with heavy mascara and pink lip color. Her dark hair, swept up and pushed back with a black hair band, was set in bottom curls draping her right shoulder.

The National Board of Review screened over 300 films for awards consideration in 2008.

The event was hosted by Whoopi Goldberg.
