| Music videos |
Not only has Salma appeared in movies and TV-series, she's also been in two musicvideos and directed one herself.
In 1996, she was in ZZ Top's video for the song "She's just killing me".
In 1999, she starred in the movie Wild Wild West opposite Will Smith, who also sang the theme to the movie.
Salma played Will's wife in the music video for "Wild Wild West". She gets kidnapped by Dr. Arliss Loveless and Will Smith goe on a journey to find and free her.
In early 2006 Salma directed the music video for "Te Amo Corazon" by Prince. "Directing the music video was great. I thought 'maybe he'll be very controlling' but he was very relaxed and lovely. He took directions really well. It was my concept, I came up with the idea, everything. I'm a control-freak so I was scared, cause I'm very concerned about details and stuff, but he loved it. He would sit and laugh at me saying 'you're like me!' so he just let me do it. We had a wonderful time, he's such a genius." Salma said when talking about working with Prince.
"Salma heard the song and came up with the original concept," Prince said of her in a statement. "Salma is the most thoughtful, attentive director I have ever worked with. An absolute joy."
