Unfortunately after several months of running this website, I have decided I will be stepping down. While I greatly adore Salma Hayek, and feel I always will, I do think running a site for her is a bit to much and I don’t have the time to properly invest as much energy here as I’d like. So after some consideration and speaking to Filip (the previous owner) neither of us feel this is a site we can commit to any longer, but would rather remain fans in the background. So I wish to thank all of you for the support and donations you gave me when I took over the site but I hope you understand. At this time the site will remain online until further notice. However we’ll keep you posted if we find new owners. |

According to this report, Salma will be joining Antonio Banderas to voice a charactr in Puss In Boots (working title), based on the popular Shrek character of the same name, which will be released on March 30, 2012. By the way, I haven’t had a chance to report on this but Salma was recently announced to star in Adam Sandler’s newest comedy Grown Ups coming to theaters on March 12, 2010. She’ll be joining a cast that includes Kevin James, Chris Rock, Adam Sandler, Rob Schneider and David Spade. The Columbia Pictures release is about five best friends from high school who reunite 30 years later on a Fourth of July weekend. Salma would star as Sandler’s wife in the film and mother to their daughters. They are also hearing that Sandler pals Norm McDonald and Steve Buscemi are joining the cast of the project in smaller roles. |

The actress and her husband, French billionaire François-Henri Pinault, tied the knot – for the second time – Saturday in a star-studded ceremony in Venice, Italy, People has confirmed. They originally got married in a civil ceremony at the 6th Arrondisement City Hall in Paris on Valentine’s Day. This time around, Hayek, 42, went all out. She wore a Balenciaga wedding gown by Nicholas Ghesquiere as she exchanged vows with Pinault, 46, at Venice’s opera house La Fenice. The bride, who wore her hair in a bun with a long veil, held a bouquet of orchids and stephanotis with crystals. The couple’s daughter, Valentina Paloma, 19 months, was a flower girl, along with Francois-Henri’s son and daughter from his first marriage, Francois, 10 and Mathilde, 8. Valentina wore a dress by Bonpoint for the ceremony, which started around 7 p.m. At one point in the ceremony, the guests sang “Over the Rainbow.” |
